ingredients:
- Pork 400g (I bought a ham roast weighing approximately 900g, uses half of this court and the rest to other remedy)
Spice:
- garlic 1
- Chilli 1 (preferably hot)
- scallions 1
- Ginger 3-4 slices
- whole pepper 20-30
- Whisky (Alcohol makes the meat more tender, but can be omitted if desired)
Cut meat into slices (as thin as possible); cut ginger and scallions; finely chop the chilli and garlic and place them in a small bowl
Boil water in a pot with pepper, scallions and ginger
Place meat slices with whiskey and let it simmer for 20 min
Remove the meat and place it neatly in a dish, garnish bit with scallions in the middle
Cook 3 tbsp oil in pan until it smokes slightly and pour into the bowl with chilli and garlic
Mix in 1/2 teaspoon salt and 1 tablespoon soy sauce
Pour in a little sauce from boiled meat, mix well
Pour some of the sauce mixture on the meat
Now you can dip the meat in the rest of the sauce and eat! Bon Appetit!!!
tips:
- If you can find Sichuan pepper, use it instead, it provides stronger flavor
