Oven baked duck


  • Duck leg


  • Whisky                       1tbsp (Alcohol makes the meat more tender, but can be omitted if desired)
  • honey                          2tsp
  • Oyster sauce          2tsp
  • Soy sauce                 1tbsp
  • scallions
  • Ginger                       5g


Chop the ginger and scallions. Mix oyster sauce, soy sauce, honey and whisky in a bowlimg_0634

Poke holes with toothpick in duck leg to get the marinade into the meatimg_0635

Mix in the sauce, ginger and scallions, and massage a bit of the duck leg and let it stand in the refrigerator for 30minimg_0637

Preheat the oven to 200C, grill the duck leg for about 35-40min. Brush the honey on the skin before it is put in the oven and brush again 10 minutes before removing from oven.img_0649
