ingredients:
- Duck leg
Spice:
- Whisky 1tbsp (Alcohol makes the meat more tender, but can be omitted if desired)
- honey 2tsp
- Oyster sauce 2tsp
- Soy sauce 1tbsp
- scallions
- Ginger 5g
Chop the ginger and scallions. Mix oyster sauce, soy sauce, honey and whisky in a bowl
Poke holes with toothpick in duck leg to get the marinade into the meat
Mix in the sauce, ginger and scallions, and massage a bit of the duck leg and let it stand in the refrigerator for 30min
Preheat the oven to 200C, grill the duck leg for about 35-40min. Brush the honey on the skin before it is put in the oven and brush again 10 minutes before removing from oven.
